Fire Department Software Built for the Fire Service
Fight Fires. Not Paperwork.
Fire Tracker Systems is a growing collection of purpose-built fire department applications designed to help volunteer, career, and combination departments spend less time on paperwork and more time serving their communities.
// New & Expanded — Fire Tracker Fire Scenario Studio
The Next Alarm Starts With Better Training.
Turn a photograph of a real building into an AI-generated fire training scenario. Challenge your firefighters with realistic emergencies, track their decisions, and document their training—all in one platform.
Optional add-on — not included in the Fire Tracker System itself.
Fire Tracker Systems brings together the everyday tools a fire department relies on — station checks, apparatus and equipment inspections, training records, time tracking, incident reporting, run cards, and emergency medical documentation — into one connected suite. Instead of juggling paper forms, three-ring binders, and disconnected spreadsheets, your members work from a single set of digital applications built specifically for the fire service.
Each module is designed to address a specific area of department operations, so you can deploy one tool or run the full command stack. The result is cleaner records, faster lookups, and fewer hours lost to administrative work.
// 02 — The Challenge
Disconnected Tools Create More Paperwork
Many departments still rely on a mix of paper check sheets, handwritten logs, and spreadsheets that live on different computers and in different cabinets. That makes it hard to find information when it matters and even harder to produce the records chiefs, commissioners, and auditors ask for.
Paper check sheets that get lost, damaged, or filed incorrectly
Training records scattered across binders and personal spreadsheets
Volunteer hours tracked by hand and difficult to total at year-end
Incident reporting that lives on a single desktop instead of with the crew
No single place to look up apparatus, equipment, and station history
Municipal leaders and fire commissioners evaluating department software
// 05 — Benefits
Why Departments Choose Fire Tracker
Less Paperwork
Replace paper forms and spreadsheets with digital records your whole crew can use.
Better Organization
Keep station checks, training, time, and reporting in one connected suite instead of scattered systems.
Stronger Accountability
Maintain cleaner, more complete records for chiefs, commissioners, and auditors.
Built for the Fire Service
Every module is designed around how fire departments actually operate — not generic business software.
NERIS V1 Aligned
The reporting module is built around NERIS V1 compliance and national integration.
Grows With You
Deploy one module or the full suite, and add applications as your needs grow.
New// Fire Department Software — Integrated Applications
NEW! Integrated Fire Inspections, Preplans & Incident Reporting
One Building. Three Connected Applications. Better Information for Firefighters.
Fire Tracker Systems connects building inspections, emergency preplans, and incident reporting to help firefighters access important building information during emergency response.
Fire inspection software, fire preplanning software, and fire incident reporting work together as one integrated fire department management system — built to improve firefighter situational awareness on the fireground.
Fire Tracker Inspections
Document fire code violations
Track outstanding corrections
Review and classify responder hazards
Publish verified operational warnings
Fire Tracker Preplans
Connect inspection information to building preplans
Access building details, photos and floor plans
Associate verified hazards with the correct building
Organize critical preincident information
Fire Tracker Reports
Automatically locate matching preplans
Display inspection review warnings
Highlight verified responder hazards
Access building information from the incident screen
// From Prevention to Response
From Fire Prevention to Emergency Response
When a department opens an incident at a building with a connected preplan, Fire Tracker Reports can automatically retrieve the building's preincident information and inspection review status. Verified, published responder hazards are displayed with clear warning levels, helping crews recognize known concerns as they assess the scene.
Connected inspection and response information
Automatic preplan lookup for matching incidents
Visibility into outstanding inspection review
Verified responder hazard warnings
Building photos and floor plans
Department-specific information and access controls
Less switching between separate applications
How Hazards Are Published
Fire code violations are not automatically treated as responder hazards. A hazard must be reviewed, classified, and published by your department before it appears as an operational warning.
Building intelligence supports your crew's size-up. It does not replace firefighter size-up, scene assessment, or incident command decisions.

New Tools. Better Information. Stronger Operations.
Fire Tracker Systems keeps getting better.
We've recently completed another major round of improvements designed to give fire departments better reporting, stronger incident analysis, improved accountability, and more tools for learning from every response.
Our goal remains simple: provide departments with practical, easy-to-use technology that helps reduce paperwork, organize information, and improve day-to-day operations.
01
AI-Assisted Incident Narratives
Fire Tracker Reports now includes AI-assisted narrative generation to help officers complete incident documentation faster.
Using information already entered into the incident, Fire Tracker can help prepare a professional narrative draft for the officer to review.
The generated narrative is never automatically accepted as the final report. The officer remains in control and can review, edit, regenerate, or reject the draft before it becomes part of the report.
Less time writing reports. More control over the final documentation.
02
Response Area Heat Maps
Departments can now visualize incident activity with the Fire Tracker Response Area Heat Map.
Authorized users can see where calls are occurring throughout their response area, identify areas with higher incident activity, filter information by date and call type, and review historical response patterns.
This provides department leadership with another useful tool for evaluating call activity, community risk, operational planning, and future training needs.
03
Improved Incident Mapping
We've made major improvements to Fire Tracker's incident mapping system.
New coordinate validation helps prevent incomplete or invalid location information from being used on department maps.
Authorized administrators also have tools for reviewing incidents with missing location information and manually correcting locations when necessary.
These improvements provide cleaner and more dependable mapping information while preserving the department's original incident reporting workflow.
04
After-Action Review System
Fire Tracker now includes a dedicated After-Action Review system for department leadership.
After significant incidents, authorized personnel can create a structured review documenting:
What happened and the incident outcome
What went well
Challenges encountered
Lessons learned
Recommended improvements
Training or operational follow-up
Assigned action items and priorities
Review status
Draft→Under Review→Finalized
This provides departments with a documented history that can be referenced during future training, planning, and operational reviews.
05
Action Item & Improvement Tracking
An After-Action Review shouldn't end when the meeting is over.
Fire Tracker allows departments to turn lessons learned into trackable action items.
Items can be assigned, prioritized, given due dates, and tracked through completion.
Action-item workflow
Open→In Progress→Completed
This helps departments turn real-world incidents into measurable improvements in training, procedures, equipment, and preparedness.
06
Enhanced NERIS Safeguards
We've continued strengthening the safeguards surrounding Fire Tracker's NERIS integration.
Fire Tracker maintains controlled processes for initial submissions and corrections to reports already sent to NERIS.
These safeguards are designed to reduce the risk of duplicate submissions and unintended report changes while maintaining a clear correction workflow.
07
Stronger Department Data Protection
Fire Tracker continues to strengthen its multi-department architecture and department data isolation.
Department and station verification is used throughout key areas of the system to help ensure each department's operational information remains separated from other Fire Tracker customers.
This becomes increasingly important as Fire Tracker Systems continues expanding into a connected suite of applications.
08
Preparing for Future Offline Operations
Development has begun on the foundation for future offline capabilities.
Fire Tracker can now better recognize when the system cannot reach the server, distinguish connectivity problems from authentication issues, notify users when server functions are unavailable, and protect online-only operations during a connection outage.
We're taking a careful approach to offline reporting. Offline report synchronization will not be released until it can be implemented without compromising department data or creating unintended reporting or NERIS activity.
Future capability — currently under development. Fire Tracker does not currently support offline report editing or synchronization.
09
Mobile & Progressive Web App Improvements
We've also continued improving Fire Tracker's mobile and tablet experience as part of preparing the system for future offline operations.
These improvements include better connectivity awareness, clearer connection-status messaging, and additional protections for operations that require access to the Fire Tracker server.
An internet connection is still required for Fire Tracker operations.
Built for the Fire Service. Improving With Every Update.
Fire Tracker Systems isn't a finished product sitting on a shelf. It's an actively developed platform that continues to grow based on the needs and feedback of the departments using it.
From incident reporting and NERIS integration to training, apparatus management, preplans, accountability, mapping, After-Action Reviews and more, our goal is to bring essential department operations together into one connected system.
One system.
Your department.
Your information.
Better tools for the fire service.
Fire Tracker Systems — Built for departments that want to spend less time managing paperwork and more time serving their communities.
Tell us about your department and we'll show you how Fire Tracker Systems can fit your operations. No pressure — just a straightforward walkthrough of the tools that matter to your crew.
Add up what you pay today for reporting, training, inspections, scheduling, fleet maintenance, preplans, and EVOC evaluation — then compare it to one Fire Tracker Systems package. Starting at $2,000 per year, including EVOC Evaluation.
Fire Tracker Systems was not designed in a boardroom. It was built by firefighters who spent years on the line — completing the same paperwork, chasing the same missing logs, and reconstructing the same reports long after the call was over. That experience is the foundation of every application in this suite.
Written from the Fireground
Every module began as a problem we lived with — paper check sheets, binders of training records, handwritten time logs, and reports that followed us back to the station.
Tested by the Crew
Features are shaped around how a shift actually runs: on the apparatus floor, at the kitchen table, and under the pressure of a working incident.
Accountable to the Service
We build for the departments we came from, and we hold these tools to the same standard of care we expect for our own crews.
By Firefighters // For Firefighters
The standard we build to is simple: software we would want on our own apparatus, in our own station, and in the hands of our own crews.

"All of the apps together have taken our record keeping and decision making processes to a whole new level. Not only has our record keeping process for calls, training, equipment maintenance, staffing, and trip logs become significantly more streamlined, we are now able to use the data for decisions that need to be made for the department. It is much better than having several binders and having to transfer them to a spreadsheet or write it all down. Just like in sports, we use the data gathered to see our "performance" as a department and make adjustments as necessary."
